Moab, UT: Canyonlands Nat. Park (Northern Entrance) & Utah State Park

Saturday, June 2nd, we entered Canyonlands National Park from the Northern Entrance.  This is truly a Land of Canyons.  Very beautiful.  The dimensions of the Park are done justice in the pictures.

Dead Horse Point State (Utah) Park

This entire area of Utah, from the background in our campground to the shopping areas, to the local streets and highways, just abound with God's wondrous works.  You cant ask for a more beautiful scenery.
In Moab, not to be outdone by the two magnificent National Parks, the state of Utah has set aside more canyonland for a State Park.  The name Dead Horse Point State Park was derived from the image of a horse lying flat on a rock in one of the canyons.

Can you make out the image of a horse?
That green liquid is the Colorado River running through his canyon

The canyons in the Park were breathtaking.
